While some foods can help prevent UV Damage, others can cause problems (from acne to aging). Here are three smart tips for healthier skin.



  1. Toss Blended Coffee Drinks. Dairy can worsen acne; sugar helps break down collagen. Drink Plain Iced Coffee. Having four or more cups a coffee a day can be associated with a 20 percent lower risk of melanoma.
  2. Toss Grilled Steak. Red meat that is cooked at high temperatures is more likely to form advanced glycation end products, which can play a role in aging. Eat Salmon. It is rich in anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids. A serving of oily fish every five days may protect against pre-cancerous changes.
  3. Toss lots of Citrus Fruits. They contain substances called psoralens, which makes your skin more sensitive to UV rays, and have been linked to an increased risk of melanoma. Eat Watermelon. Like citrus fruits, they are choked full of skin rejuvenating vitamin C- but they do not have any psoralens.watermelon
