How Jamie Foxx built a body that can do anything. Functional training and core work allow the star to assume any identity.

Foxx’s workout is divided into mini circuits that keep it moving quickly, allowing him to hit multiple groups in a short period and raise his heart rate to accelerate fat burning.

Directions – The exercises are divided into groups of three or four. Perform a set of the A, B, and C exercises (there is also one D move) in sequence before resting. Repeat until you have done all the sets for that group – then move on to the next group

Group 1:

  • 1A Single to Double Leg Press – 3 sets of 10 reps [no rest]
  • 1B 2 Way Plank – 3 sets of 60 seconds hold (in each position) [no rest]
  • 1C Push Up with Lateral Crab Walk – 3 sets of 10 to15 reps (in each direction)[90-120 seconds rest]

Group 2:

  • 2A 3 way Dumbbell Lunge – 3 sets of 6 to 9 reps (each side)[no rest]
  • 2B Cable Ab Rotation – 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps (each side)[no rest]
  • 2C Alternating Grip Pull Up – 3 sets of 21 to 24 reps (rest 90-120 seconds)

Group 3:

  • 3A 3 Way Calf Raise with Biceps Curl – 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps (no rest)
  • 3B Hanging Leg Lift – 3 sets of 20 to 25 reps (no rest)
  • 3C Dumbbell\Kettlebell Overhead Press – 3 to 4 sets of 10 to 12 reps (each side)[90-120 seconds rest]

Group 4:

  • 4A In\Out – 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps (no rest)
  • 4B Swiss Ball Y and T – 3 sets of 20 reps (no rest)
  • 4C Swiss Ball Reverse Extension – 3 sets of 20 reps (no rest)
  • 4D Weighted Dip – 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps (90-120 seconds rest)jamieFoxx
