Thanksgiving Leftovers – Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake
What do you do with a fridge full of turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberries and pumpkin pie? You turn them into muscle –building meals.
- 8 ounces water (you may se skim or whole milk also)
- 40 grams vanilla protein powder
- ¼ cup canned pumpkin (or a slice of pumpkin pie)
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend for 45 to 60 seconds, or until smooth. For a thicker shake, add more ice.
