Thanksgiving Leftovers – Cranberry Walnut Oatmeal

 

What do you do with a fridge full of turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberries and pumpkin pie? You turn them into muscle –building meals.

 

 

  • ½ cup oats
  • 1 cup water or skim milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • 251 calories

 

  1. Cook oats according to package instructions (either on stove top or in microwave) with water or milk.
  2. Add salt. Stir cranberry sauce and walnuts into oatmeal. Serve hot.
