Cider Sangria with Pomegranate Seeds
Bring ½ cup each pure maple syrup and water to a boil in a small saucepan with 1 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, and a pinch of grated nutmeg. Let cool; discard the cinnamon stick and cloves. Combine with 3½ cup chilled hard apple cider, ½ cup pomegranate seeds, ½ chopped green apple, and 6 halved orange slices. Serve chilled.
