Smoothie Bowls – Creamy Kiwi and Greens
They are the newest take on fruity-veg topping combo, and they are just as delicious and energizing. Skip the straw – these breakfast blends are so rich, you will want a spoon.
To a blender, add 1 cup baby spinach, the juice of ½ lemon, and 1/3 cup almond milk. Blend until smooth. Add ¾ cup ice, 1 cored pear, 1 peeled kiwi, and 2 ounces (about ¼ cup) silken tofu (optional0, and blend again until smooth. Pour into bowl, and top with ¼ cup silvered toasted almonds and a handful of raspberries.
