Protein Waffles and Pancakes

Waffles

  • 3 tablespoons oat flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milled flaxseed
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 scoops vanilla whey (optional)

Place all ingredients in a blender and secure lid. Blend until smooth. Pour batter into heated waffle iron and cook until crispy.

Low-Carb-Protein-Pancake

Pancakes

  • ½ cup egg whites
  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 scoop chocolate whey (optional)

Bake the potato in an oven or microwave until the center becomes soft, about 8 to 10 minutes. Peel skin and allow to cool. Place in a blender with remaining ingredients and secure lid. Pulse briefly until smooth. Pour batter into heated frying pan or waffle iron, and cook for about four minutes on each side.
