Pesto Sauce and Spicy Coconut Lemon Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups basil leaves
  • 3 garlic gloves, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons pine nuts
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 scoop unflavored GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions: Place all ingredients in a blender and secure lid. Blend until ingredients are finely chopped. Toss with pasta of choice.

Spicy Coconut Lemon Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 8 scallions
  • ½ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 (14 oz.) can lite coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 scoops unflavored GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein

Directions: Place all ingredients in a blender and secure lid. Blend until smooth. Serve over steamed vegetables, whole wheat pasta or grilled chicken.
